House update... Not much to update really - was stripping some more last weekend and there is now only the passageway, stairs and kitchen to strip wallpaper from and I've managed to get the horrid cupboard off the wall in the kitchen.
I got my Ercol 3-piece delivered at the weekend as well as my fridge (Thanks Rhi & Mark) and my washing machine (Thanks Margaret). They are all sitting in the living room on bare floorboards, with my new phone.
I had a lot of trouble with my direct debits for my mortgage, but I think *hope* that its all sorted now and I'll not have a black mark next to my name for paying in arears!
Well, this week I've decided to become more active within my online communities and hopefully become a member of some more. I have joined a few Web-Rings of groups which I feel connected to. I am hoping to join another one before the end of the next week, but I'm wanting to do something more constructive with my site first. I have added a square to their quilt though:
I decided I didn't have enough money (or inclination) to go out this weekend, so I decided to stay in. I've found that all the stress with the house and work and work and work *phew* are exhausting me so I'm falling asleep everywhere!
I rang the plasterer that Ashley gave me the number for, he popped round the house (while I was looking like a total scruff!) and had a look round my nookes and cranneys! - He said it wasn't a big job and would be able to get back to me soon... I'm still waiting...
Anyway - basically I've got no life, can't afford to get a life, don't have time to make it look like I've got a life, so I think I'll just fall asleep...
