Well, this week I've been migrainy so I've not been feeling too grand. I've had problems with these new glasses since I got them, but I've finally made an appointment to go back and get them sorted. Hopefully that'll stop the tendancies to hide away in a dark room where no light can hurt my eyes and therefore send lightning pains across the inside of my skull!
Well, all complaints over and done with, I'm chuffed to say I've now got central heating in my house! Horray!!! New Radiators grace the walls throughout the house and I've had my first bath in my own house (run through taps) for 6 months (ish)!!! It had bubbles and everything!!! It also means I don't need to wear my sister's blue-Newcastle-United wolly hat to bed (it was so cold - honestly - I mean REALLY cold... please stop laughing???) - Anyway, I've worked out how to use the timer already so it's cozy warm when I get in from work and it's cozy warm when I get up in a morning too. Mmmm... Warm...
Well, my Spike obsession is reaching an all high level - I'm even as I'm typing, I really just want to be looking at his cute high cheekbones and his eyebrow with the cute little scar (gained from being mugged when he lived in Queens!)... I've been reading a bit about James Marsters too, (the guy who plays Spike in the Buffy Series) - I decided I didn't just want to look at the guy as a sex object, but as an actual actor too. I found out that he actually smokes in real life (downer) But - likes cats (had one called Zachary which unfortunatly died 2 years ago), loves Shakespear and his fave play is MacBeth, beat Bon-Jovi in 'Best Looking Person 2001' and performed his solo acoustic music at the 14 Below club in Santa Monica, California on April 20th 2002 (wish I'd been there!). - Cats, Shakespear, Music - what more could a woman want from a man...? *Sigh* - Maybe I should try and wean myself off the obsession...? Or maybe I should get off my bum and get a page dedicated to James Marsters/William the Bloody!!! |
Note to self: Steal sister's computer from Mother's house (as sister is using mine for Masters Degree!) and actually get round to doing some kind of dedication thing!!!
Anyway... Spike would really be perfect, except for the fact that he's a vicious killer. Or maybe that's part of what makes him so intriuging! Mmmm...
Tracey floats off to Spike land till next week...!
Er... oops - just realised that the whole this week thing is about Spike/James and I've not actually said anything else! - Well, I saw Tomas on Tuesday night when he came round late and crashed over. Apparently both he and Matt are now homeless and Tomas is looking for accommodation (as he's staying with his dad (I think) don't quote me on that!) Matt is going to the far reaches of Cumbria this weekend to stay with his Mam.
Hope to see Matt before he leaves. I've been seeing a bit more of him recently (even if that did involve watching Jay & Silent Bob Strike Back, which I will admit was better than I thought it'd be! Not to mention that I forced everyone there to watch Queen of the Damned several times (or more) the other week!
Ooh, also bought a 3-vid set from Tesco - Interview with a Vampire, Lost Boys and Fallen (which isn't vampy, but is more of an unfair weird film - but good all the same! And the best bit was that the whole set was only £12.95!!!
*BIG GRIN!*
Anyway, got to go! Luv you all!
