W/C 29 October 2001!!!

MONDAY... Still waiting for Wednesday to arrive. Not sure what time on Wednesday to go and pick up the keys to my new house. Will have to ring up and see what's going on. I have asked for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday off so that I can scrub the house from top to bottom.

TUESDAY...Hmmm... Just rang my solicitors and they've said that (as far as they know) there is no problem with my completion date being tomorrow, just ring them tomorrow lunchtime to confirm it and then I'll be able to pop to the estate agents to pick up the keys. I got the impression that they would have the keys and I'd be picking them up there... I repeat... Hmmm...

WEDNESDAY... Finally... Got my keys for my house. Hurray! I'm just so happy that things are finally sorted! Had a wander round the house and stuff and then organised for my gas and electrics and water to be sorted out and provided by people! Also, happy Samhain/Hallowe'en/Celtic New Year. What a fantastic day to start a new section of my life!

THURSDAY... Popped in to take meter readings (for gas and electrics) and got my first mail addressed to me at my new address! I was so happy, (even if it was a bill for my solicitors fees!) I'm just so chuffed! ~:oP Yey!

Have been adding various new bits to my webpage, including a "Fun" section and a "Piccies" section which are quite groovy. I've updated some of my links and have added a Guestmap... Just follow the globe link here or on the introduction page.

Not much else to report, I went to the shows on Saturday with Big Dave, (not on the friends section coz I don't have a piccie of him yet!) and then went to Consett with him and his mates including Tim (also not in friends section for the same reason! - I really need to get my camera out with me more often!) and bumped into Jonny again - Jonny and Tim walked me home (or walked towards my house behind me after I got bored and pissed off and cold and went on ahead! ~:o) and we stayed up talking till about 7am. (after waking my parents up at 5.30am! Oops!)
Nevermind, I still had a good night, except my hip didn't like the way I was sitting and is now hurting lots and lots *sob*
