Horses

If you know me, you know I couldn't have a website about me without at least one horse on it. Well, here's a whole bunch of them. Actually, I won't ever see most of these horses again.. But I really loved them. They were my "favorites".. I still ride, hunter/jumper if anyone cares haha :)

A LITTLE UPDATE, COLA WAS SOLD SOMETIME IN NOVEMBER 2000

The first horse I ever like really loved.. Justin. I was told his racing name used to be Just In Time. Anyways, I started riding him when HE was 28, and I was 8. I seriously doubt that he's alive anymore.. If he were, he'd be 36 (wowowowow).. But yeah, when I was a depressingly bad beginner, this was the horse I rode the most. Love him lots.

Here's Cola. Right now, he's my favorite horse, but that's not going to last very long. He got lame in November, and I was the last person to ride him. I feel like it was my fault.. but he was fine while I was on him, just bucking alot, and he loved to buck all the time anyways. The farm I ride at is "getting rid of him" and I don't really want to think of how.. He was a great horse, a VERY enthusiastic jumper (I mean VERY). He had a fast canter, a smoothish trot.. He was terribly fresh, but I loved him so much. Almost leased him, was ready to buy him.. And like my biggest moment in riding was this one time I was on Cola doing a course of jumps and I heard the instructor saying "He's like a completely different horse". hehe, I got to ride Cola bareback too:) And they let me ride COLA back to the stable on my own. (They don't normally allow riders to do that.. and especially not on fresh horses like Cola.)

COLA WAS SOLD TO SOME PLACE.. I MISS HIM, NOW I RIDE SKINNY THE MOST.. BUT COLA'S GONE.. ::sigh::

This is Ceazar. He was put down between December 99 and January 00. But he was a HUGE horse.. almost 18 hands high.. He was incredibly bouncy at the trot, but his canter was nice. .

Charlie, slow as anything and stubborn, and smart. but he's a sweetie when ur not actually riding him.

Ceazar and Ryan.

A more recent picture of Skinny. And the blonde ditz next to him is me:)

Cola.. here you can see he's pigeon toed:)

Cola's slightly younger days. He doesn't look quite as mean here.. This was when I first started lovin him ....

This is Murphy (aka Jack's Folly). As of now, the highest I've ever jumped was on Murphy.. 3 and a half feet. This horse was AWESOME!! I also will probly never see him again.

This is Dutchie. These pictures were taken a while ago, notice I look different. I ride Dutchie sometimes, now that Cola's being put away. Dutch Treat's an awesome horse, WONDERFUL to ride and MAD FUN, but very strong:)

Chip.. I rode him bareback.. I fell off of him.. Once I was riding him and he decided to lie down in the middle of the lesson. Funny, he didn't seem that heavy on my leg when he rolled over onto it:) In this pic, you can see some dirt on my leg cuz THATS the day i fell off of him! But I won't see him again cuz I was exersizing him and his owner decided to move.

This is Scout.. We had a LONG lasting horse/rider bond. He's the first horse I fell off of, and also the first horse I cantered on without stirrups. I fell off of this gentle guy three times altogether lol. Now-a-days it seems SO HARD to fall off a horse.. This horse is the reason I was scared of riding for a good year or more. But he's also the reason I stopped being scared. He was my favorite for SO long.. And he was put to sleep in the middle of 2000.

Skinny. I LOVE this horse. I ride him alot. He's hyper, fast, a big jumper- I love this horse. I didn't used to be fond of him. He used to make me neauseaus, lol. Yep, Skinny (aka Trapper John) takes some getting used to.

This is Jason, I hack him quite often these days.. Like every Saturday.. He's 25 but man yo, once he gets going it's like yeehaw.. He's very comfortable to ride.

Here's Oscar! I used to ride him when they first took me off of Cola. When I was able to ride Cola again, someone started leasing Oscar and I was put on Skinny then. Oscar's great. Strong, quick, powerful, but really fun.

Two short lived romances: The dark bay is a horse named Zack that I rode in England during the summer of 2000 (you know, before my life went haywire.) The roanish little one is a horse I fell in love with WAY long ago in Poland. And, yep, that's me on her in the picture. The horse's name was Sea Breeze, and she was STUBBORN.

This is Scout again. Here, he is seen with his rider, Ryan's arm.

Here's a horse I'll never own, right here. But my birthday is August 10th HINT HINT.. Fresian stallion "Black Satin" would be his name.. ahh, well, there's alot i'll never get my hands on haha

(This isn't a "real" horse, just pics I found online)
