In the last (short) episode, Zab was jinxed into falling madly in love with Bob, Ni was getting angry at Joe for being late, Bob was frightened by a bunch of strange guys that play D&D, and Joe was running as fast as he could for the Ping Pong Halle.
What else could go wrong?
As Bob walked down the picturesque streets of Erichsville, he thought about his previous dimension. He had a term paper due, a chemistry test coming up, some bills to pay... maybe coming to this dimension was a good thing. Of course, he was walking around
a strange city, lost, penniless, without a friend.
At least I don't have homework... He thought as he bumped into some scrawny goth.
"What the %^&*($(&^%&( do you think your doing, you (*^$&$^%#? Do you know who I am? I am the *(^&%$^%$#%^# *&%&^%$$ (*^*&^(^(&^&$ %$@$&(&^%^%#
&%@$#@(*&%^%##$!$(^%&^$%$@$@ Jason! Bow down before me! Wait a minute...who are you...?"
Zab, from across the street, saw the action, and decided to explain to the young comic geek.
"Ah, Jason. This is Bob. He's the hero of the story. Bob, this is Jason, the town misfit."
"Nice to meet you, Bob. So, Zab, who's the villain of the story?"
"Um...we don't know yet. D.E.U.S. X. Machina has left us high and dry on this one. Between you and me, I don't think the author has a plan."
Jason thought over this. After a moment's pause, he tentatively asked, "Zab, do you think that...I...could, um, be the villain?"
"Eh. Why not?" Zab shrugged, "one less thing that I have to deal with."
"HAHAHAHAHA! I WILL WREAK VENGEANCE ON YOU FOR CALLOUSLY BUMPING INTO ME?! YOU WILL RUE THE DAY, BOB!" With that, Jason turned to leave dramatically, fell on his face, and busted his lip. It was a very dramatic exit.
"Right...." Bob remarked, staring at the retreating figure.
"Don't worry about it. At least we've got the next plot point."
Zab stood awkwardly. "I...uh...Do you want to go to the Ping-Pong Halle? That's where we usually hang out. There's not much we can do until something happens to give us some direction."
"Sure. I need somewhere to live." Bob remembered.
"Hm...true. I'll give D.E.U.S. X. Machina a call tonight."
With that, the two lovers, destined by fate, friends walked off towards the Ping-Pong Halle.
What will Jason do to hurt our hero? Are Ni and Joe still friends? What is the writer thinking pairing up Zab and Bob? What role will the D&D-ers play in this story? Find out next time in Bob Weekly!
