My name is Ann M. Read and I am 61 years old. I have one daughter named Kathy (and her site is the best). I was born in Gilroy, CA, but when my dad went on active duty, we lived in several places in the south (i.e. Georgia, Kentucky, etc.) When my dad went overseas in Europe in September of 1944, then mom and I drove home to Vallejo, CA where her parents lived.
At the end of 1945, my dad came home from Germany, came to Vallejo, found work in Watsonville (where he had done some of his growing up) and in about February of 1946, we moved to Watsonville.

Mom and Dad have been in the Watsonville area ever since 1946 where they still remain. My daughter, Kathy, and I have lived with them in Watsonville since 1995. We also have five sweet kitties and two others who can be.
