About Site

This site was first born online on a happy yet busy day in February 2001 (Offline sometime in Fall 2000). Since then I added and subtracted (who says school is over) a billion things over the 3 years it has been on (which I'm really proud of, btw; that's a long time). Even though I've been kept very busy by all my other sites, I felt this one was still too simple or newbie; too much like other cats sites.

On August 10 2003, I created the base of this site on my brother's laptop during vacation (thanx, Pawie!) and edited it the next three days we were home on my own computer, continuing on vacation again till the 17th (thanx again, Pawie!). Since then I worked at home till I thought my brains would fry (as if they haven't already).

This site was named Yvelle's Trashbin because of a fanfic I wrote about myself, which I still have yet to get online. Yvelle is my family name. My other names you'll just have to figure out for yourself, muahaha.

Why this layout? I've been greatly inspired by Cats and non-Cats fanlistings all over the internet. I have made the layout purely my own, though, by still using my many backgrounds and borders that clutter my computer. (I just can't let them go!) This helps me and others remember that this is a fansite with as much information on different productions as I can muster. At the bottom of each page is a description of the border/background that page is using (e.g. actor, production, date).

Help this site! Since I don't know everything in the world, there are many borders/backgrounds that are unknown in some way. If you know anything about the year/actor/production and either I don't have it or I have the wrong thing listed, e-mail me at once! There is an e-mail address in the Site section of my menu.

Protect this site! I really don't want anyone taking my background images. To me they're one of the main things that make this site so original *coughsomewhatcough*. If you like a certain picture you can e-mail me and I can probably tell you where I got it. Besides, I've darkened the background images considerably in order for the text to be seen. You don't want the picture too dark, do you? *pouty*

Help site surfers! One very special feature I have on my site is a page about other websites moving or remodeling, etc. It's located in the Internet section of my menu. It would mean a lot to me if you would mail me any changes going on in sites, or if you're looking for a particular one (chances are I myself have already been to it and know where it is). I don't care if it's your website or not, just let me know!

This site's heading banner was created by Adobe Photoshop. The background is from a video picture, the Munkustrap picture is from the video, and the Grizabella is Elaine Paige in London '98.

I hate Guestbooks. Don't ask why. So if you want to tell me how wonderful my site is, don't hesitate to e-mail. I could always use a boost in my ego. Oh, sure, but when I say that---MRPH! *paw over his mouth, hissing* This isn't your page to soil! ...Which reminds me...

Macavity is here because he's my little pet. He has been so since before I started working on my very first page. He's really, really old---HEY!---but that makes him my favorite character. Awww.

Last but not least, I'm sorry for the Angelfire banners! I wish I had the heart to move my site to a place without banners, but...well...I'm the boss around here, so there!
