1.) My choir teacher announced that we would be putting on the play
Cats and that he and I would be directing (I was assistant director
since I knew so much about the play) and I would also be in it, but with a
small part since I had 2 jobs. (I was definately going to pick Etcetera.)
Interpretation: Well, who wouldn't want their school to put on Cats?
2.) There was this big crowd on my driveway and in the middle there
was this guy with his cat. The cat started circling me, and even though the
cat was calico it reminded me of Coricopat and I started singing the Old Deuteronomy
song---very badly, I might add.
Interpretation: I had this dream at my Grandma and Grandpa's house, so
I think I was homesick for my friends calico cat named Pumpkin and my Cats video.
3.) I was visiting this Mexican family and I brought my Cats
video with me so I could watch it there. I was upstairs with these 2 little
girls in their room, when I heard 'Memory.' I moved coser to the door and sat
in the doorway beause I wanted to hear Jemima's voice because it was so pretty.
Interpretation: I have no idea what it is with my dreams and Mexican
families (I've had this one dream---I've had twice---where I'm a member of a Mexican
family and we're trying to escape Jurassic Park.). The 2 little girls I was
with were these 2 I sometimes babysit for, so I must have been thinking about
them. The reason why I heard 'Memory' was because the family was watching my
tape. It's such a nice feeling to know that someone actually wants to
watch Cats and you're not putting them to their tormenting death.
4.) I and 2 other people had just escaped from a jail/concentration
camp and were hiding in the woods by the freeway and I had smudged Tugger makeup on.
Interpretation: My friends and I have a theory that school is a concentration
camp. In my dream we had traveled down the freeway after we escaped, and the
woods were right near it, like in my town. The woods is one of the best places
to hide. I don't know why I had Tugger makeup on, but it was smudged
from my many years of labor and torture.
5.) I was being held captive (by one of my own characters!) in my
school's wrestling room and when I looked out the window there was this huge
full moon and I was so tempted to sing any of Jemima's parts.
Interpretation: I was being held captive by my character named Malden. He's evil and weird,
so he would do that sort of thing. I have no idea why that moon was so huge,
though.
6.) I was taking D.W. (from the show Aurther) to her pre-school.
It was a really long walk, but when we got there there was a huge Jemima poster
next to the door.
Interpretation: I had seen Aurther one too many times. The huge
Jemima poster was a picture of a background
I had just downloaded and I liked it very much.
7.) Old Deuteronomy had just ended his solo in 'The Moments of Happiness.'
The blue lights were shining, and Victoria was standing up to sing Jemima's solo. She actually
had a soprano voice, but then suddenly the scene changed; the red lights were shining, and
Victoria was singing 'On My Own' from Les Miserables, and guess who it was about. Macavity!
Interpretation: I just luv Jemima's solo in 'The Moments of Happiness.' This took place
around the time Victoria was becoming one of my favorite characters. This also took place after
I realized how much I like Macavity and I got a Les Mis cd from the library and 'On My Own' was my favorite song on it, and still
is.
8.) I think this one took pace during the Jellicle Ball. Growltiger was holding Quaxo
in the air by his arms so Quax could do the splits in the air (he didn't go all the way but it was
pretty close). In my dream I was wondering about the songs because 'Growltiger's Last Stand' isn't
even in the movie, so what would Growltiger be doing there anyway? I think there was either some sort of argument or the toms just wanted a rumble,
but Alonzo was picking a fight and Plato was the one who was being challenged. Asparagus supported
Plato, and I think the fight had Carbuckety in it...somehow.... Anyway, all of a sudden the scene switched
and all the cats were in a half-circle singing. All of a sudden I noticed Jemima had black nailpolish.
And Alonzo had black nailpolish! Then, I started to notice everybody having black nailpolish!
The scene switches again to me websurfing on this one CATS site, where, on the page I'm on, there
are either Jemi or Bomby pictures (probably Bomby). It read on the page that Bombalurina was the owner of that page,
and when I clicked the Back button I found out Rumpleteazer was the owner of the site. On the main
page were pictures of Teazer, and I think also Bom and Jemi, which were button-links to all the pages.
Interpretation: Well, let's just say that this dream confused me as much as it probably confused you.
I've always thought about what it would be like if 'Growltiger...' was in the CATS video, but I have
no idea what the thing with Quaxo was all about. I also have no idea what was with the whole fight thing.
Well, hehe, I do like the toms, and I think this was when I was getting interested in Plato and Carbucketty.
I think I had this dream around the time I gave one of my characters black nailpolish, so that might explain a little bit.
I also had this dream when I think I was a little website-crazy (which, when I think about it, is all the time).
9.) Ok, I had this one dream but to be honest it's too weird to describe. No, really, it is!
Yeah, you're thinking, "It can't be that weird compared to the other dreams you have." But really,
it is! Well, I can tell you some part. Cats was in town and I was there and don't ask how
I got there but I was onstage telling Macavity that he was one of my very favorite characters.
Interpretation: I was excited about the Cats tour coming to town (and still am!) and...
well...the Macavity part is pretty self explainitory.
10.) I was a performer in Cats (Victoria, yay!). The show was going as the dream opened, and it was probably after
the Jellicle Ball. Our new/weird director suddenly began changing things around in the middle of the performance. He took
out songs and added ones that I had never heard of and had nothing to do with the cats. I was very upset when he took away
the Rocky Horror part (probably my mind's Growtiger's Last Stand), and all the performers and I were talking backstage (probably
planning a coup) while this was going on. There was a few minutes for break and the performers and I went to my house (which
was obviously much longer than a few minutes but we didn't care. When we returned the show was still running, and the director
was still off his rocker. We all touched up our makeup (I had an issue with my camosile) and tampered with our new music material
onstage and offstage. Before I woke up, in the actual dream, I told myself: it doesn't matter that things aren't right. I'm
in Cats; I'm where I want and always wanted to be.
Interpretation: I've been experiencing a lot of weird things from directors/choreographers lately. Everyone knows the
delio with the video/live productions with the adding/subtracting songs. I've gotten slight obsessions with Rocky Horror and
Growltiger. On performance days, I try to stay home as much as possible. Dance pictures had gone on the day before this dream,
and there were some issues with white costumes and camisoles, lol. The last thought in my dream is very important to me, and gives me hope.
Viewers' Dreams
1.) I was in a really old house with no rooms at all. i was standing in the middle of the house singing 'mungojerrie and rumpleteazer' at the top of my voice and my sister (who appeared out of nowhere) was staring at me. later in the dream, peter griffen (family guy), number1 (kids next door) and freddy kruger (nightmare on elm street) appeared in a rollercoaster and they had to get the grim reeper a soal or they would go to heaven.
Interpretation: I had been watching cats at two in the morning and i fell asleep in my sisters room- i don't know where the other characters came from!!!

2. It's winter, there's snow on the ground, and I look out my window to see that somebody's made a makeshift stage out of snow, right next to the window. I watched as cars pulled up and people started getting ready to watch whatever it was that was gonna happen. All of a sudden, these teenagers in Cats costumes start performing the musical, on a snow stage! I watched for a while, but it was really short. It is a dream, after all.
After a while, everybody left, leaving this snow stage in my backyard. So, I went outside, and started dancing on the stage, doing stuff from Jellicle Songs for Jellicle Cats. When I was done, the cast came out and told me that I was good and asked me to become a part of their group. I said yes, and then I woke up and felt sad that it was all a dream. *sniff*
Yvelle Interpretation: What a great way to use snow! Most people begin their dance careers while they're still teenagers, so that part is not so weird.
