This rant is about how
people basically annoy me.

People
People. What a topic.
This subject of people fascinates me. Always, I find my way to be dogged by
malicious,
deceitful, and above all - stupid - people. However, I have never met someone
whom I
would tag to be such a person. Someone who would change their mind on
important issues
every couple of days, who would act and speak hypocritically, yet looking
about I find
that I am affected by them.
Where do they come from? What drives them? Do they lurk in their houses,
monitoring their
cell phone scanners and waiting for the perfect opportunity to throw lives
into disarray?
Or do they just do it to me?
Something must be done. It is unthinkable that we should allow this people to
go about their
lives - or lack thereof - disrupting the lives of my friends and myself. But
what to do? They
obviously cannot be reasoned with. Physical action does not recommend itself.
And simply
locking them away causes yet more problems. If they could be ignored... but
they have made
themselves necessary.
For they are not faulty stock. They can produce fine offspring, so it must not
be in their
genetic makeup. Something psychological then? Could we then treat this with
therapy or drugs?
Treatment. Therein of course, lies the problem, that being that they see no
problem. Were it
possible to make them see that their actions are simply unacceptable, were
they able to see
that they have done wrong, our job would be over. There is no way that they
could continue in
this fashion after actually accepting that it is contrary to all standards by
which we live.
So, then, how to make them see? Some, indeed most, will come to this
conclusion on their own
eventually. But the damage done during this period? Not to them, but to those
who must live
underneath them?
Of course, here we have another problem. Those best suited to show them the
way out are those
most least suited to show them the way out. That is, they could show them, but
they are not
equipped to do so, as they must live with these people for the duration of the
enlightenment.
What then?
This people appear to have a desire to be fine, outstanding pillars of the
community. Were
their actions publicly displayed, this may have the double effect of bringing
it to
the fore of their attention, and shielding the victim. What have we now?
We must publicly draw the attention of this person - preferably by some action
of the victim
= to the fact that they are considered to be base, flawed stock of the
community.
This may be difficult.
Maybe we should just shoot them.
