I know him from Beetlejuice, and an episode of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and a small role in Heathers. And he did voice work in The Nightmare Before Christmas, and Teen Titans, etc.

First and foremost, he is Kirk, from Star Trek. There's also a couple episodes of The Twilight Zone (including "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet," which is one of the more memorable episodes of the entire series); and T.J. Hooker; and an episode of The Ray Bradbury Theater; and Boston Legal; and Invasion Iowa; and he played Juliet's dad in a couple episodes of Psych; and A Christmas Horror Story. Also voice work in an ep of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic; and Osmosis Jones. Oh, and of course he's done plenty of commercials (most notably for Priceline). And there's his (in)famous rendition of "Rocket Man," which is truly incredible. And I also enjoyed his rendition of "Common People"; and the closing theme from Buzz Lightyear of Star Command: The Adventure Begins. Anyway, no doubt I've seen him in other stuff, I dunno...
