First I should say that some years ago, I made a page for my signatures that I used on various message boards, but some of them can also be used as memes. Since they're already on that page, I won't include them on this one, so I suggest you check out that page, as well. I also want to mention that I've made other memes, some of which I've forgotten about, and some that I decided not to include here because I stopped caring about them, or whatever. But there are a few more memes I made that are on my social justice memes page and my political memes page.
I should also mention that technically, these are image macros, but that's what I usually mean when I say "memes." (You may also want to read about my original introduction to concept of memes, back in the 90s, before I ever saw a macro.)
And I wanted to explain a few of my memes. The default pic is a screencap I made from Dan Vs. It's not really a meme, but I needed to use something for a default image, and I didn't want to repeat one of the images linked at the left.
I made one based on the popular "change my mind" meme, but instead of just changing the text on the sign, I swapped in the main character from Get Out in place of the usual guy in the picture. (Spoiler alert: The "coffee vs. tea" thing vaguely references something from the movie, but it's not really important. The real joke is the "change my mind" part.)
There's one that uses a screencap from the end of Beck's 1996 music video "Devils Haircut." I made this in 2016, a couple weeks after Beyoncé's song "Sorry" instantly popularized the phrase "Becky with the good hair."
One I made based on a commercial for a sleep aid called Belsomra.
One features Bernie Sanders, which I made during the 2016 primary, based on an old series of Starburst commercials.
One features a screencap from an old Coke commercial with Max Headroom and the slogan "catch the wave," which I was inspired to make in 2018 because of talk about a "blue wave" of voting for Democrats.
One features Daveed Diggs as Thomas Jefferson, from "Hamilton." I made this in July 2018, when some people were making memes mocking Trump for believing Putin over American intelligence agencies.
One is an alteration I made of the original creative process meme, which was made by someone else.
One uses a popular "distracted" image that for a hot minute, everyone was making memes with, so I decided to do one about old Pennywise vs. new Pennywise. Some time later, I made one that represents my occasional suicidal thoughts.
One I made to show support for Kesha. I don't really know her music, but what was done to her was unacceptable. (I used a Simpsons character to lighten the implication that rapists should be killed.)
One I made because the opening of Great Performances reminds me of the opening of The Muppet Show.
One is a very simple meme based on a line from The A-Team, which I think could come in handy in various situations.
One features Ryan Gosling saying "Hey girl..." which also happens to be the name of the (former) theme song of New Girl, so that inspired me to make this (after season four stopped using the song).
One I made in 2016, comparing a campaign tactic that was used against Hillary Clinton to something the Doctor used against Harriet Jones in The Christmas Invasion.
One I made in November 2016, featuring Holtzmann from that year's reboot of Ghostbusters. My reasoning for this was that she was played by Kate McKinnon, who also portrayed Hillary Clinton on SNL.
One isn't a meme, but a t-shirt design I made (very badly drawn), based on the 2016 election.
One I made in 2013, in response to the 2012 song "Thrift Shop" by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis. Because Kramer, from Seinfeld, helped make shopping at thrift stores trendy in the '90s.
One is just a screencap from Dan Vs. with a line of Dan's that I found amusing. (Not the same as the default pic.)
I made one using images from the anime series Eureka Seven and Trigun... although "vash" is actually pronounced differently in each case.
One I made using member berries (from season 20 of South Park), in order to complain about Trump being completely lacking in dignity in his debates against Hillary Clinton in 2016.
One isn't really a meme, but a "flag" I made with people and things from Southern culture that Southerners could take pride in, to replace the Confederate flag, which they should obviously take nothing but shame in.
One I made to demonstrate what it's like to have depression. If you're familiar with the old-school video game Pac-Man, you know that when the character goes off the screen on one side, he reappears on the other side. Well... with depression, you could be feeling great one moment, and terrible the next, and you never really see it coming.
One I made based on a line of Penguin's from Batman: The Animated Series. I made it in response to a picture that a friend shared on facebook.
And... hopefully the rest are fairly self-explanatory. (Quite possibly some of the ones I explained weren't really in need of explanation, either.)
