The Moonshine Jesus Show, on Facebook & YouTube & PodBean

This is a podcast by reverends Mark Sandlin and Caleb Lines, who are co-directors of ProgressiveChristianity.org. They talk about a different work of pop culture each week, while drinking themed alcoholic beverages. As far as I can tell, this started in late January 2022, though I get the impression that was a reboot of an older podcast, but I can't find anything about the older one. Anyway, they manage to work both politics and theology into their discussions of pop culture, but in particular I would say, at least of the episodes I've watched so far, the theology isn't nearly as big a part of it as you might expect. It's mostly just geeking out about whatever they're discussing, and their progressive political views are an important aspect of it. Most episodes I don't intend to watch either because they are about things in which I have no interest or because I'm avoiding spoilers. But there are some episodes I definitely do intend to watch. (And I may watch more old episodes if and when I get around to watching some of the things they talk about that I haven't seen yet.) I think their takes on these shows and movies are fairly interesting, and I like the idea of theologians expressing both interest in some of the same things I'm into, and presenting progressive political and social justice beliefs. Because there's just not enough of that in our culture. (I myself am agnostic leaning toward atheism, but I do believe it's possible to be both religious and progressive, and it's nice to see some people being vocal about that.)
I first started watching the podcast in September 2022, with their latest episode at the time, about "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law". Since then I've gone back to the beginning and watched various episodes that interested me. I'll list all the episodes here (that I'm aware of), providing links to the ones I've actually watched, as well as links to my reviews of the subjects being discussed, if I've seen them. (In some cases I don't watch the episode of Moonshine Jesus Show because they're discussing seasons I haven't seen yet of shows I've seen at least some of.)
