Well, it's hard for me to know what to say about this series. I started out kind of not liking it, because the first two episodes stressed me out so much, as I was constantly empathizing with Steven Grant (Oscar Isaac). But it gets better as it progresses, I guesses. I still never managed to like it a lot, but I got to the point that at least I didn't feel like my time watching these six episodes had been wasted. And I'd actually be kind of disappointed if there's not a second season.

Okay, so I already mentioned Steven Grant. He is a mild-mannered British guy, who turns out to have an alter-ego, an American named Marc Spector. The latter serves as the avatar of Egyptian god Khonshu, who has imbued Spector, aka Moon Knight (though I don't think we ever hear that name in the series), with... I dunno. A suit that makes him invulnerable, or something. And probably some other powers, because he's a damned badass fighter. Khonshu directs Spector to fight (and kill, I guess) people who have committed evil acts. The main villain of the series is Khonshu's former avatar, Arthur Harrow (Ethan Hawke), who is the leader of a cult or something, and wants to revive a goddess named Ammit, who had been imprisoned in stone by the other Egyptian gods, long ago. Ammit's goal is to kill anyone who even thinks about committing evil, before they can do so. And Khonshu wants Spector to stop Harrow. Meanwhile, Steven gets caught up in all this, since it's his body that Spector uses. It's complicated. Before too long, Spector and Steven are joined by Spector's wife, Layla El-Faouly, who also wants to stop Harrow. And I don't really want to spoil any more about the series. Unless we get a second season.

So, you know... it was all rather interesting, and confusing, and weird. I wish I could have liked it more than I did. Certainly there were some particularly good bits in it. But on the whole, I thought it was just okay.
