Something or Other

Okay, I have here a picture that I hope to do something with.

I got this today from a friend because it was falling apart and she didn't want it, and I started thinking, hey, I wonder what this would look like if I scanned it. So then I got the bright idea that I could scan a random object every day and post it on my site...then I realized that that would make things very cluttered and I'd soon run out of interesting ideas. Well, maybe once a week would be more realistic. Or whenever I change the Quote of the Week. Then I realized that I couldn't think of anything other than this to scan. So THEN I thought, hey, flowers die, and they look kinda interesting when they die, but I don't want to keep them because they don't seem to have much use. Well, maybe I could scan a new picture of the flower every few days and we could watch it deteriorate. It would be very reminiscent of the StinkyMeat project at The Spark. So...I don't know. Right now, I think that it's quite pretty and cool, and I thought I'd show you guys. And I'll hopefully update this page when I figure out what to do with it.

Well, I said I'd try to update this in a few days, and here it is, 3 weeks later, and I'm finally updating it. I scanned these two pictures quite some time ago, but never exactly posted them. Here they are:

As you can see, it got very very smushed. I think that was because it was in my backpack for six hours. Oh well. I've decided to abandon this project thing because it's boring, and I threw the flower away. I've come to the conclusion that it is physically impossible for rotting flowers to be as interesting and entertaining as rotting meat. See for yourself here. It's The StinkyMeat Project, by the comical geniuses at The Spark.
