5-18-2005. Lakeview, Oregon. Lake County is located in South Central Oregon and borders Modoc county in California and Oregon's Klamath county. Its 8,300 rugged square miles comprised of varied environment's from high mountain forests and meadows, sagebrush covered deserts and hills, the worlds biggest fault line, Abert rim to natural wetlands and hot springs. Lakeview is the county seat at 4,800 FT.
