First I'll give you a definition of what reincarnation is so if you don't know have some sort of idea what the heck I'm talking about here, lol.
Reincarnation- rebirth of the soul to another body; a new embodiment
Wicca is a religion that celebrates life, nature and death. Life and nature everyone can understand, but you may ask why celebrate death? Here is my answer.....
I believe that there is no end to the soul. That it keeps on living after our bodies have composted back into the Earth where they came from. Once I am physically dead my soul will exit my body and go to the Otherworld where I believe it will mingle freely for a while gathering enough energy to go back and do it agian.
It is all a cycle. Just like in the changing of the seasons and the phases of the Moon, life begins with birth, you grow up and learn, then you die only to be ready for rebirth again. In the physical, death can effect you terribly emotionally, due to the cause of the death and because you have lost someone. But when someone dies I have learned to try and look at the whole picture. In most cases you will notice it is a release from the pain and suffering that person has gone through due to an illness or other problem. In such a case you will feel at rest knowing that they are not suffering anymore and are happy. They are watching you, ready to begin their new lives on Earth.
I have
discovered so far 6 incarnations in my life's cycle. There is more I know,
I just have to find them. Through them I have learned why I have such a
terrible fear of drowning. By learning about past incarnations you
can learn to deal with fears and know why you have them, you can also pick
up on hidden talents that you have from other lives.
