I look up at the Northern Star
and I can see your smiling face
Knowing that you’re watching
us gives security to my place
It makes me cry when I look up
and wonder how you are
But then I remember you are up
there with the biggest heart
I close my eyes to visualize
your face up in the sky
But every time I think of you
it makes me have to cry
You were an Angel down on Earth
and I am sure you are up there
You were always there for everyone
you showed us that you cared
With memories of things you’ve
done puts a smile on my face
I know you must be happy there
in that big amazing space
The heavens that fill the sky
are as big as your heart
And you are up there shining
brightly nothing will keep us apart
Every time I look up I can see
you in the sky
I know one day you’ll catch me
and help me learn to fly.
