A Little Biography On David Jones.
(NB: this is definately not professional!)
Ok so Little Davy (hehe :-) ) was born on the same day as Mike (except 4 years later), the 30th of December 1946, In Manchester, England. Davy was an actor before he was a Monkee then he was an Actor and a Musician when he was a Monkee and he is still an Actor and Musician today. (see Mike if you think I'm deranged.) Now before the Monkees Davy played the Artful Dodger in Oliver Twist (stage version) and he also played Ena Sharple's son Colin, in Coronation Street. Davy is now 55yrs old. Oh he was in The Brady Bunch Movie! and in the Brady Bunch Episode "Getting Davy Jones"
Anyway, Davy was also an apprentice jockey and in a Monkees Story on TV he said that he wished he had been a Jockey instead of a Monkee. (poor Davy) (well, I for one am glad he wasnt!) anyway, You'd probably know Davy as the Short One From England Who Got All The Girls. Well, Davy sung some of my other fav Monkee songs like She Hangs Out, A Little Bit Me, A Little Bit You and the legendary Daydream Believer.
Um...what to say about Davy? He's cute is all! :o) I dont know what He's doing now...hopefully discussing with the guys about coming to Australia to do a tour...(I can always dream...) :-)
