You turn and yell the Lady's name. Nothing happens. "Oreahna!" you yell again. You hear the flutter of wings behind you and turn to see her flapping downwards to land. You move back a bit to ensure you don't get hit by her wings. She lands in a crouch, on both feet and her right hand, the owl now absent. She stands and brushes her dress off. "Where's your owl?" you ask, curious.
"Anemos is out hunting. That can't be the the only reason you called me back"
"No, it isn't. I wanted to know who you are and who are all these others you mention."
Oreahna sighs. "That is a little more difficult than where Anemos went." She sighs again. "Let me show you," she says.
She steps away from you and closing her eyes, wraps her wings around herself like a blanket. You see a shimmery green light emit from between the closed wings. The wings shrink away and leave a different girl exposed.
This girl's hair is a brown streaked with gold that is reminescent of the color of Oreahna's hair. Her eyes are a normal blue, rather than the glowing green before. She is dressed in slightly flared blue jeans and a black t-shirt. At her waist is a black leather pouch with a snowy owl hooked onto a brown leather belt. She stretches and you notice there are no wings either. The leather cuff on her wrist that had made the perch for Anemos had shrunk into a thin leather bracelet imprinted with a design of falling leaves and one lone bird. Two rings are on her right hand. A Greek key ring on her middle finger and a silver and onyx ring on her pinkie. Around her neck are two necklaces: a silver moon pentacle on a silver chain just below her collarbone and a rune- Inguz, the rune of fertility and energy- on a black cord hanging between her breasts.
When she speaks again, her voice is less resonant than Oreahna's was. "This time around I am known as Jessy. How you see me now is how I usually appear in the mundane world known as Earth. I was born in late winter, 15 turns ago. Off Earth, here on Eyrith, I can shift- shapeshift to people of Earth- into a snowy owl. Those you see around me that I mentioned earlier are my acquaintances. Let's do this differently. You ask a question and I'll give you the answer, ok?"
You nod. "Sure. Eyrith first." You begin to question her.
What is Eyrith?
Eyrith is a place of creation by myself and another. It is a combination of all the elements, but mainly it is Air-Earth. It is pronnounced A-yr-th.
Who speaks for the owls?
Anemos. She is my daemon, the personification of my totem animal and a guide through other realms.
Who speaks the faeries?
No one really leads the faeries. They kind of flutter about in clans. One named Morningstar allied her clan with me and others followed her examples. The rest are not allied to Sayra`Karayna and myself, but they refuse to assist Shandar`Kyle either.
Who speaks for the wolves?
Ulrich does. He is one of my two brothers. It is his shift-form.
Who speaks for the dragons?
Jade, a large red dragon. She is Sayra`Karayna's guardian.
Who speaks for the bears?
Greyviin, my second brother speaks for their kind.
Who speaks for the gryphons?
Sayra`Karayna and the first of her twins, Arlen, are significant to their kind.
Who speaks for the pegasus?
Deahna does. It is her shift-form.

Kat speaks for her kind in her shift-form.

Sayra`Karyna's second twin, Kass, speaks for them. He is my cariadwyn and it is his shift-form.

You pause in your inquires for a few minutes. "Anything else?" Jessy asks you. "May I ask about Earth-life?" you question. Jessy nods. You begin again.

I have just begun with the SCA (Society for Creative Anacronism), I am involved with the drama department at school, I write, I like dancing though I have never taken lessons, and I play piano on and off. I had to stop lessons because of school.

I have found the Earth-forms of Sayra`Karayna, Kass (my cariadwyn), Arlen (Kara's twin), Kat, Jade, Ulrich and Greyviin (my brothers), Nuriel and Deahna, to name a few. I know only the Earth-froms of Bailey, Brittany, Will, Erin, and Catherine.

Jessy stops and laughs at you. "You've begun asking silly questions. I think it's time for you to decide whether to trust me or not. If you don't feel free to come back again, but know that you will not be met with such welcoming trust as you were this night. If you trust me, my friends and my directions, the forest will be much more welcoming of you. I bid you a good journey now, and I am going to change back to my Eyrith form, which is much more comfortable in and near my lair than my Earth form is."
She steps away, crosses her arms and bows her head, eyes closed. She begins to glow green again, this time the glow has gold flecks through it. Wings sprout from her back and cover her body. When the wings unfold this time, Oreahna stands there again. She looks the same as before, except the belt and pouch Jessy wore is still resting on Oreahna's hips. Oreahna opens the pouch and reaches in. She pulls out a small crystal point and hands it to you. "To remind you of your time here," she says. You give her your thanks for it and she curtsies.
"I must go back to my hunting as well, for I must be elsewhere later tonight. Choose a path and fare well." She flies off with strong wingbeats and you are left alone again. You look at the paths again.
