begining on june 11th 2004,
there is a special event that will take place,
each floyd fan will be given the opportunity
to say how they feel, personally
to the world's greatest band, PINK FLOYD
it is a gift from the pink floyd fans
to pink floyd members, "ex" members , and artists
as a way of saying thanks
for the outstanding gift of music, art and ideas they have given us.
fans from all over the world will be participating
in this event.
the event details are translated
in several international languages,(add more being added)
it is expected to span across 100+ countries,
to learn how you can be part of this historical event:

JUNE 11th also marks the date of the
RE-RELEASE OF THIS WEBSITE:

this date was chosen to mark the 10th anniversary of :
THE PUBLIUS ENIGMA
which was begun by a set of mysterious annonymous
postings to the .alt.pinkfloyd board.
the author wrote solely under the pen name :
PUBLIUS ENIGMA
these messages stated that there was a deeper meaning and purpose to PINK FLOYD'S 1994 release :
THE DIVSION BELL
the ingenious person or
group of people who could discover the solution
would be given a prize,
of which they may choose to share or not share
with the the rest of the world
though PUBLIUS came up with
undisputable displays of his honesty
(such as stage lighting spelling out :PUBLIUS ENIGMA,
and his name is also written in the mini disc re-release
of the pink floyd album: A MOMENTARY LAPSE OF REASON)
many of the fans DIVIDED forces,
and either agreed or disagreed very strongly about the enigma
giving the album more meaning than originally thought.

while many floyd fans flamed and disputed the ENIGMA
there was a small handful of floyd fans
who chose to "trust" in the enigma.
