Jay, aka The Marshall
A native Savannahian, and my fiance, Jay has been running Deadlands games for quite a while now. He is best known for inspiring weekend-long gaming binges among our friends, and for giving out Fate Chips for those who will make the long and dangerous trek to the refrigerator to grab him a beer. Any questions regarding gameplay or game mechanics can be directed to Jay. Considering the vast amount of money he has invested in Deadlands resources, he should be able to help you, or at the very least redirect you. In addition to Deadlands, we play L5R (Legend of the Five Rings, set in alternate Feudal Japan), and DC Heroes.
Melissa, aka Charlotte Gentry
In addition to making and updating this site, I am a senior English major at Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah. I, however, am not a native Savannahian; I moved down here from the North Georgia mountains four years ago, and await honorary native status through marriage. I, too, am a certified game-geek. I even run my own PBEM, Dhalgren Revisited. I'm fond of William Faulkner, Ernest Hemingway, and Dylan Thomas, and welcome any discussions of the literary persuasion, in addition to any comments or suggestions regarding the site and the game. Christy, aka Christine Donnelly
Christy has been playing Deadlands for years, and, aside from being an old friend, is best known for usually being the first to make the long and dangerous trek to the refrigerator for Fate Chips. I am hoping to persuade Christy, who is a fellow English major and writer, to help me with this site.
Griff, aka Thaddeus Faulkner
Griff is another old friend, though a new Deadlands convert. He is active in the SCA, having a remarkable penchant for pummeling and being pummeled with a rattan stick, and a damn good cook.
Alex, aka James Flannery
Alex is another long-time "deadhead" and friend who always struck me as the "Mad Scientist" type. You can find out more about his character here.
Nick, AKA Preacher Nathaniel Hawkins
I've known Nick forever, and Jay's known him longer, and everybody's happy when Nick plays a Preacher. *grin* In fact, I hope to be collecting some of his sermons on this site. Nick is a writer and an absolute genius on guitar.
Leslie, AKA Laurie Wilkinson
Leslie is an art student and all-around talented person. She and Nick have been part of our core group of Deadlands players for over two years now (and I think even back before I moved to Savannah).
Carrie, AKA Abigail
Carrie, along with Darren, is a new player in our group. Like Griff, they're both active in the SCA and have been gaming for a while, though this is their first foray into Deadlands.
Darren, AKA Reginald Smith III
Darren is one of those folks who pummels, and gets pummelled by, Griff on a regular basis. In other words, he's an SCA fighter, too.
