A. No one is for sure exactly, however, on packages that they recieve it says Springfeild, NT. this is not a state it's an abandoned place in Australia. Now we look at the different possibilities within the country. Personally, I think that they live in New York. Why? Because it follows within a lot of the boundaries that they've so nicely set for us. It has a Springfeild River. It is near New York City. (Remembering it only cost them nine bucks to get there.) It's by the ocean, reasonably. It's plausible for them to have a hurricane there. And i'm am curious to know where the area codes 939 and 636 lead you to. But this is just one speculation. I don't think that even Matt Groening himself knows exactly. This is a highly debated subject of the Simpsons and I personally like that it is a mystery and hope that they never actually answer it. Although to quote Lisa "It's a bit of a mystery but you can figure it out if you look at the clues."
