Childhood
Pellucid ran from home when very young, around five.Reasons for this are unknown currently. A few weeks later she encountered a group of traveling acrobats, and their traner grew atached to the little scamp and after discovering her she was a natural at contorionism, decided to make her a member of the troupe and to hone her skills. Later the troupe joined a traveling circus, now 9 and the youngest member of the troupe Pell, felt under contant pressure to preform as well as the others, she trained constantly , and sometimes in secret. Pell strained her body to it's limits, but not without consequnces, eventually her body gave in to the strain and she fainted during her warmups right before the circus's largest audience to date. Her troupe was very understanding and urged her to take a break and to rest, but Pell was ashamed.Soon after, she slipped away into the night taking only a jester suit with her to mark her disgrace. .

Present
Pell perches in the trees above watching each passer by.
A passing insect crawls across her deep green cloak, but she pays no mind to it. Pellucid Eniw reached into the pack resting on her lap and stroked the head of her faithful companion, Silly, a weasel by nature and by breed, he lay sleeping in his specially made pocket.
A prick of blood began to dribble from her free hand, the passing insect apparently had a taste for blood, Pell rolled her eyes and flicked the nusance away, then licking her tiny wound diverted her busy hand from Silly to the ointment nestled in the bottom (of course everything you need in always at the very bottom of the pack, it's as if gravity affects important things more that trivial nonsense) of her pack.
She hated the stuff, it stung and did nothing but quell the irritation for a short while, but still, any releif from insects was a relief no matter how small an ammount of time. Pell sighed and applied the greasy mixture to her wound and neck(her only other uncovered flesh, the rest was hidded under her trademark jester suit which was covered by the aformentioned cloak, and her face smeared with enough paint to keep the bloodsuckers away) grimacing at the annoying tingle it left behind. Silly sneezed.
She smiled, he was so cute when he sneezed, even tho he was a terror while awake, but still she supposed he was a help in his own way. Sneaking would be ever so much more difficult without him. He rustled in his sleep twitching his left front paw, a rodent grin spread across his pointed face. Dreaming of sneaking bread no doubt.
She went back to petting him stoking him absentmindedly, thinking of her troupe, how were they doing and if they missed her. Pell blinked back moisture threatening to seep through her painted eyelids, then laughed at herself for being so stupid. She pressed against her eyes making sure all liquids stayed where they belonged, inside.
Hunger rumbled through her mind, and screamed below her rib cage. It awkoe Silly. He urked his protest at her, irritated after being disturbed. She sighed and scratched behind his tiny ears, hoping to calm him down. It must have been a good dream, she thought to herself.
Silly pouted in his pocket for a while and Pell tried once more to be on the weasel's good side, it was far too early for him to be up, far too early for her too, and a cranky Silly was not the most plesant company. She sighed and pulled their last scrap of bread out, stale and hard as stone. She waved it in front of the pocket, daring Silly to come out. He poked out his sharp little skull, his beady little eyes trailing after the week old morsel (term used loosely of course,... very loosely). She smiled a blck inked smiled and placed it on her shoulded bekoning him to come after it, otherwise it was hers for the taking.
Silly, never one to pass up anything that gave the impression of food, clambered out of the pack and onto her shoulder snatching the edible brick and nibbling feircely at it. Pell slung the pack to her free shoulder and started the climb out of the tree and into town. perhaps today they might meet someone....
