The Know it-it-all Brothers live in the Kokiri forest and teach Link some things he needs to know early on in his quest. The Kokiri are children of the forest and cannot leave it or they would die.The Great Deku Tree-
The Great Deku Tree guards the Kokiri, but has been striken by a strange blight which Link must try to fix.Shiek-
This character appears just before adult Link enters a new dungeon and teaches him a song that will warp him to the dungeon's entrance. The true identity of Shiek is one mysteries in the game.Saria-
Saria is Link's best friend as a child. Saria is actually one of the seven sages.Talon-
Talon is the owner of Lon Lon Ranch and Malon's Father. He is very lazy.Ingo-
Ingo works for Talon but thinks that he should own the ranch because of how hard he works. Ganondorf gives Lon Lon Ranch to Ingo, and Link must race to return it to TalonMalon-
Malon is Talon's daughter. As a child, she introduces Link to Epona and teaches him Epona's Song. As an adult, Malon challenges Link to a horseback obstacle course, and gives him a cow if he can finish the course in under 50 seconds.                  
Impa and Zelda-
Impa is the caretaker of Princess Zelda. She founded Kakariko village. Princess Zelda helps Link get started on his journey by telling him of a dream she had in which Ganondorf was trying to take over the world.Nabooru-
Nabooru was, essentially, a leader of the Gerudos, but unlike the rest of her ilk, she hates Ganondorf. She solicits Link's help to get the Silver Gauntlets from the Spirit Temple.
