Contrast Vision

There is a mirror at the edge of the hall
The moon shines on it every fall
And as I gaze into the sheen
My eay catches a silver moon beam
I look beyond my world ant to the snow
The mirror snow shimers with an unearthly glow

Its there i catch a glimpse of her
In my heart, curiosity is stirred
I see her eyes ther locked on mine
I quicly loose all sence of time
And as i part my lips to speak
No sound comes out, my voice is weak

She is filled with sorrow, hate and pain
Around her it begins to rain
I feel myself reach out to her
But now every thing is just a blur
Like watercolours in the rain
my understanding is all in vain

I looked with shock into her eyes
What i thought was true till now were lies
My leggs give way and i felt weak
The mirror looked so tall and bleak
All along this dismal girl
Was none other than me...
