Witchcraft In The Moonlight.

Forest green and lack of light,
Through the leaves the black of night,
Crash of sea and roar of wave,
Cries of all the sailors brave,
Moon shines bravely way up high,
Watches life that's born to die,
Atop the cliffs she stands alone,
And lonely calls out to the foam,
Summoning creatures from the earth,
The sky, the sea, they gave them birth,
Chants the ritual, sings the spell,
No thoughts of heaven, no fear of hell,
Below the sea - the darkness glows,
Gathers together, grows and grows,
A burning eye, his cruel claws,
Scaly wings and gruesome jaws,
The fear she could not feel before,
Is increasing, growing, more and more,
The spell unfinished, still he flies,
Through the water to moonlight skies,
She sees the chaos, feels the dread,
Of thoughts personified, outside her head,
The nightmarish dream crumbles and falls,
Down through the sea, with echoing calls,
Lost the monstrosity from her head,
The emptiness there says she's better off dead,
Towards the sea, hypnotically drawn,
To cease to exist like a child stillborn,
A moments lifetime, flying free,
Her life extinguished by the sea,
Far down below where monsters sleep,
Her grave in the depths of the watery deep,
The moon she watches from above,
Watches people born to love,
Born to die and born to live,
She watches people born to give.
