Mistaken Characters

It is possible that other people mistaken characters (or the character's reputation) for something else. Like when I told a shopkeeper for a VCD 'James and the Giant Peach', the shopkeeper thought that it was 'James and the Giant Pig'.

Sonic

[My cousin who really loves games, walks into a shop]
Shopkeeper: Can I help you?
Cousin: Do you have a game called Sonic the hedgehog?
Shopkeeper: Sonic the dead dog?

Amy Rose

[I just bought some Sonic stickers from a shop. My friend looks at the stickers and jerks her finger at Amy Rose's sticker and says...]
Friend: Is that Sonia?

Knuckles

[My uncle has named his dog Knuckles]
Me: Why did you name your dog Knuckles?
Uncle: Isn't Knuckles a dog?
Me: Knuckles is an echidna! Echidna!!
Uncle: That's right. Aren't echidnas dogs?
Me: ....

[I was drawing Knuckles in school. My english teacher looks at my drawing]

Teacher: Hmmm... that's a duck.
Me: (stops drawing and looks at teacher)
Teacher: A female, warrior DUCK

Shadow

[Me and my sister are playing Sonic Adventure 2]
Me: (listening to Tails talking) ARK was shut down 50 years ago?! Oh MY GOD!!
Sister: So...?
Me: That means Shadow is 50 years old!
Sister: It's 15!! 15!! Shadow isn't that old!!
(*Note: He IS over 50 years old!!)

[I drew a VERY nice pic of Shadow in school on my eraser and showed it to my friend]
Me: Do you know who is this?
Friend: Um... I know!! This is Eeyore, right? The donkey.
Friend2: (looks at the picture) Emeraldspace2 is going to get very upset.
Me: (Goes hysterical.)

Rouge

Sister: Hey, Rouge is actually a bat!
Me: Of course! What did you think she was?
Sister: I thought Rouge was a rat.
