A group of archeologists, called the 'Kitty Katty', mainly because it consists of cats have found proof that Sonic existed, long, long ago:-
A picture of the almighty hedgehog!
Along with the picture, the 'Kitty Katty' has found a scroll that read:
"When the triplets were born,
The throne awaits,
A seer warns of a deadly fate."
These lines matched _exactly_ the first few lines of the 'Sonic Underground' lyrics.
The 'Kitty Katty' have uncovered a legend that one day, after many years later, Sonic will be well-known through video games, comics and cartoons.
