The average story, Eggman is trying to steal the emeralds, and Sonic and
his friends have to stop him.
A few things are added to this game that its predecessor did not
have.
1. Cream & Cheese
2. More difficulty
And More expansive levels.
A good thing about the difficulty, it keeps you coming back for more. You
die at least 6 times before you get halfway through the level! Now that is
serious competition!
The levels are huge. You have to play sky canyon to believe it. You will be
getting sore and frustrated by the time you get halfway through the
levels.
Sonic is the only playable character at the start. Eventually you can
unlock Sonic's whole gang, including his girlfriend Amy.
This game play's a lot like the Sega versions, only it has the same various
up grades seen in SA2.
The bosses are the toughest I have ever seen. You have to chase after him,
instead of staying in a still arena.
Basically, a very good game. Especially for those who are fans of the old
school sonic.
Score: 95% *above average*
Highs: Solid game play, great graphics, new characters, tougher boss
sequences, and high reply value.
Lows: Lack of story, Cream is way too cheap, too short
Bottom line: Great solid side scroller, a great game to keep your fingers
in shape for sonic heros.
