Species:
Red-Snout Utahraptor
Gender:
Female
Age:
3 months
Height:
2'3"
Length:
6'4"
Weight:
Somewhere between 50 - 70lbs
Color:
Kayatee's skin is dark blue green with darker stripes of blue, green and purple coming down from her back. Ruby red flashes line her muzzle, indicating she is a red-snout. She has a fluffy down crest of very fine, thin feathers, colored bright yellow. A stiffer, taller row of feathers runs down the middle of the first crest, and its color is a bright green. Her eyes change color and range from a pale, almost clear blue to a dark, almost black, dark blue. Kayatee's claws are black and shiny, despite her condition. She is small and skinny.
Personality:
Kayatee is very shy and submissive. She is fearful of everything and very skittish and jumpy. Most of the time she prefers to be by herself, but she realizes that she cannot survive this way. Around others she is very quiet. She doesn't say much about her past or why she is alone. Sometimes she wanders off by herself and hides, sometimes up a tree or in a small cave or burrow no one else can fit into. These times when she is alone are the only times she shows her emotions, and usually she will sit by herself and cry.
History:
Kayatee was born to a pack of raptors that lived by the river. Her mother and father were alphas, and she was the only chick in their clutch. Life was fine until she was a month and a half old, when a bachelor pack of three male yellow-snout utahraptors came by, killing the males and raping the females. All of the other packmates' chicks were killed, but Kayatee managed to escape with her mother. After the fight, her mother was mortally wounded. That night, Kayatee and her mother fell asleep, but her mother did not wake the next morning. Kayatee stood by her mother's side for a week, until the deinonychs and dactyls became too forceful and she couldn't defend her mother's dead body any longer. Since then she has wandered, scavenging when she can, but mostly starving. She came briefly into the territory of a large pack, but the threat of acros was too great, so she wandered towards the Gencas pack, hoping for better luck.
