Name:
Naida
Species:
Red-snout Utahraptor
Gender:
Female
Age:
5 months
Height:
4'3"
Length:
8'7"
Weight:
81 lb.
Description:
Naida is still a chick, obviously. Due to her lack of proper care for the past month or two, she is seriously underweight. She is a rusty-brown color with darker brown markings along her back. The dark brown markings continue down to the tail-tip, which is so dark it is almost black. Her eyes are bright green in color, tinged with a hint of blue around the edges. Her feather-crest is small, since she is still a chick, and it is a light tan color, each feather being tipped with blue. At the moment though, she is a little bit scruffy in appearance, as she has no one to take care of her.
Personality:
Naida is rather timid, but very persevering, which is evident in the fact that she is still alive. She will become playful and slightly hyper if she feels comfortable around the ones she is with, in which case, she can become very hyper and energetic. For the moment, though, until she finds someone, and if she finds someone, she is very quiet, shy, and really doesn't say much.
History:
Naida was born in the forest, and lived with her two parents and five siblings, two of which were from a previous brood, and almost fully grown. At one point, they were near a river, and Naida had wandered into a small cave behind a waterfall. Something had happened, which is still unknown to her, as she could not see or smell much, due to her being behind the waterfall. Her parents and most of her siblings had evidently fled deep into the forest, and she has not seen or heard from them since. When she finally got the nerve to come back out again, one of her older brothers was found nearby, lying in a pool of his own blood, and to this day, she does not know what became of the rest of her family, if they are alive, or if they are dead. She has yet to catch their scent, however. Somehow, for the past few months, she has been able to survive, killing furballs or catching fish in rivers and lakes, stealing from neglected kills. However, if she doesn't find someone to take care of her, her days are numbered. She has also spent the time wandering in search of someone who will take her in or at least, give her food.
