Kaplan High Speech and Drama Team

Members of the Kaplan High Speech and Drama Team recently traveled to New York City where four of its members competed in the National Catholic Forensic League's speech tournament. Students competing in Duo Reading were William Seaux and Kyle Bourque. They broke to semis and earned a ranking of tenth in the nation. Other students who did extremely well at the tournament were Matthew Couvilion, Declamtion, and Edward "Jerrell" Mouton. Also in NYC were Eric Babineaux, Beth Boudreaux, Marisa Labry, Cade Griffin, JJ Johnson, Margareth Pasarabo, Katie Nowell, and Assistant Coach Ms. Laurie Latolais. While in New York the team took in the sights of the city and enjoyed several Broadway plays.






Congratulations Kyle Bourque!!!! Kyle recently competed in the National Forensic League Tournament in Oklahoma. He placed second in the NATION in the event of story telling. We are very proud!!!!! For further result please visit the NFL Website
