Soulshine is a bluesy/rock band in East-Central Indiana.

A little more about the band:

My brother Sherman S. & his friend Scottie F. both play guitar. Sherman has been playing for probably 15 years?? Some of his biggest influences are Jimi Hendrix and Warren Haynes. On this page, you will find several things that I have collected from shows.

Scottie's set list from a show in early 2004 at Smoggy's (Broad Street Depot) in New Castle. He's probably still looking for it. :)

Also, Sherman and Scottie filled in for Jimmy Sparks (Jimmy Sparks Band) while he was unable to play several shows in early 2004. Jimmy Sparks Band is also a bluesy rock band. The original members were Jimmy Sparks, Larry D. Sparks, & Doug Jett. Here are a few things I got from those shows.

Doug's drumstick from ????date? show at Smoggy's. He really played hard!! He was a true show off that night & went around the room while keeping the beat. It started with him playing the drums while he walked around them. He then went around the room playing on beer bottles, tables, chairs, ashtrays, etc... He brought me the plastic ashtray and played it while I held it with a nearby beer bottle used also. You big show off! lol

Another set of Doug's drumsticks. These were used but not as hard as the other!!

My Jimmy Sparks Band long-sleeved shirt. It's a really nice shirt! Down the arm it says "Just a damn fine band" and they definitely are a damn fine band.
