SUMMARY: Cordy gets hers after the episode on March 25, 2003
Winnie had been gone for months, long enough that those who had felt her wrath had completely forgotten about it, though Angel had been very careful not to smile.
Fred hugged Angel. It was so good to have him back. Things were finally back to normal.
Suddenly, Cordelia appeared on the stairs, wearing all black, her pregnant stomach bulging and talking in a voice that made death seem like the tooth fairy. “If this is the part where you say the worst is behind us,” Cordy said, and a giant neon flashing sign that said ATTENTION: I’M EVIL. DID YOU GET THAT? YUP EVIL RIGHT HERE. UH-HUH… EVIL. E-VIL appeared over her head.
Cordy chuckled evilly, rubbing her stomach in a very evil fashion.
Cordy descended the steps, and it became apparent that, in addition to the sign and the extremely evil black ensemble she was wearing, she had the words ‘Beast’s Master’ tattooed on her forehead.
The entire gang looked at her, confused. Moments later, Cordy announced that it was her baby and Connor’s.
Suddenly, a changed expression came over Fred’s face. She walked up to Cordelia and smacked her upside the head, careful not to in any way injure the hellspawn she was carrying.
“Hey!” Cordy said. “What did you do that for?”
“You’re evil,” Winnie explained. “I don’t know how we could have missed it.”
“Um… no I’m not,” Cordy said. THWACK! Winnie smacked her again.
“That’s for wearing that Queen of the Underworld outfit,” Winnie clarified.
Cordelia narrowed her eyes at Winnie, and suddenly, Fred was back. “Cordelia,” she said. “I’m so sorry. I must have been crazy.”
Cordelia smiled. “It’s all right,” she said. Then she turned to Connor. “Come along, Connor,” she said. “You can do something disturbing while not realizing I’m evil.”
Connor nodded. “Okay,” he said. “Sounds good to me.”
Winnie struggled to resurface, but she realized that the THWACKing would have to wait for another time.
