Woodlock was one of the more mild tempered Wolfriders, thought will fight if needed and especially to protect his family (a bit like Redlance). He is the recognized lifemate of Rainsong and the father of Newstar, Wing and Mender. When the
Wolfriders left on their quest to find
Cutter he and Rainsong and their children, along with Moonshade and
Strongbows son Dart, decided to stay behind in the Sun Village, he lived out the rest of his life there chosing not to go into wrapstuff when the rest of the
Wolfriders did. Woodlock is one of the few Wolfriders to die of old age.
