Harry Dresden had become depressed since his
girlfriend left town. She required a new taste for
blood and he became a hermit to try and find a cure.
Meanwhile the Queen of the Summer Faerie's looses her
Summer Knight and blames his death on the Queen of the
Winter Faerie's. Mab the Winter Faerie Queen makes Harry an
offer he can't refuse. She will give him his freedom
from his faerie god-mother and all faerie debts, if he
finds the Summer Knights murderer and clears her name.
With this Harry has to deal with the White Council
coming to town, to bring him to trial for his misuse of magic
and causing a war between The White Council and The
Red Court. This book gives us a new twist on Faery
lore. Harry was funnier then ever and the mystery kept
me on the edge of my seat.
