The Carpathian Series

By: Christine Feehan

"I claim you as my lifemate. I belong to you. I offer my life for you. I give to you my protection, my allegience, my heart, my soul, and my body. I take into my keeping the same that is yours. Your life, happiness, and welfare will be cherished and placed above my own for all time. You are my lifemate bound to me for all eternity and always in my care."

Plunge into the world of the Carpathian males, a species set apart from the humans, but rather are of the earth. They lead honorable lives hunting and killing those of their kind that have turned vampire. Their lives however are emotionless, black and white through endless centuries until they find their one true lifemate that will complete them and save their souls from eternal darkness. Although there's no specific time line, since jeans and cars are mentioned a lot, I'd say it was modern set. Readers beware however, cause these stories are mesmerizing, but also very XXX-rated.
