Nick has been singing and dancing all his life. When he was younger he could be found bustin' a move, in only diappers, at his father's club. In fourth grade Nick and his family moved to Orlando, Florida. That same year Nick landed the lead role in his school's production of Phantom of the Opera. He was also a featured vocalist at Tampa Bay Buccaneer pre-game shows for two years. Nick was offered a gig with Disney, but after the first night of harmonizing with Howie and A.J. he decided to join the Backstreet Boys.

When Nick has time at home his spends it with his parents and sibblings, Bobby Jean, Leslie, Angel and her famous twin brother Aaron. The drum setin his room also gets a heavy workout. He likes taking out the family motorbout, fishing, poetry, football, and basketball.
