Jarod was kidnapped when he was very small and taken to a place known as The Center. There he was trained to use his intelligence to assume the identities of others in order to predict future actions, or understand past decisions. This knowledge was abused by the Center. When Jarod discovered that these simulations were hurting people, he ran away from the Center and devoted his life towards helping the weak and abused. He must continually change names and identities, to stay one step ahead of Miss Parker, who has been sent by the Center to bring him back. Jarod hopes to find his parents, to find something of his past, that he may discover who he really is.
