The steady rain coursed
its way down my window
like tiny tendrils
of a spider's web.
Vivaldi echoed chorus and
harmony and melody over
my severely used
stereo speakers.
Cellos boomed in the background
dancing with the rolling
thunder echoing
across the valley.
Violins danced with the
streaming rain tapping
on the roof and
begging entrance.
Black skies glare angily
downwards on a frightened
earth who eagerly laps
up the rain.
The two lovers fight
and swear at eachother
in contempt but each holds back
their true love.
Nature's orchestra booms
in time and showers
the world with
unbridaled hands.
Until the rage is spent
and the two fall
together into the
peaceful calm of silence.
