Man is born and then he's a child
Then comes adulthood and death.
But what exactly should he do
Between his first and final breath?
Good and Evil, Heaven and Hell,
The Devil below and God above.
Live a good life and do what's right
And be rewarded by His Love.
Observe and study and experiment
And file and categorise.
Think and reason and try to learn
All about our lives.
Laugh and joke and have a good time.
Have a real blast before you go.
Life is made for living, so enjoy yourself.
Don't ask what you cannot know.
But alas, I believe that I have no answer
To the question of why man is truly here.
But then again, we must all believe in something
So I believe that I shall have another beer.
