 My name's Wilette and I am 20 years old. Yep, 20... well over the age of a "true Backstreet fan." See? Couldn't say that with a straight face.

I resigned...erm, reside in the USA (whoah, a little breath of Nick there for a second!). The most interesting thing I can tell you about myself is that I lived in the Philippines till I was 10 then immigrated to Melbourne, Australia. Eight years later we came here to the good ole US of A.

No, we did not own koalas. No, we did not have kangaroos in our backyard. No, I don't know why Paul Hogan has an Australian accent even though he isn't one.

No, I don't live in Hollywood. No, I don't know the Backstreet Boys personally. Yes, I have been to Disneyland.

And no, I did not intend on sounding sarcastic or condescending. Really.

Well, as you can tell, I love to create, design and write. I think, right now, writing is my main passion. Even at the risk of looking more like a smart Asian nerd, I bring my notebook at work and write my novel during lunch. It kinda surprises some people when I tell them I’m writing a novel, like they didn’t know I was capable of such a thing. Imagine, me writing over a hundred words! [gasp]

Actually, a funny thing is that I never really knew how to speak or write in English until I was ten. So a lot of people are a bit surprised that I can even write in English at all. But that’s okay… underestimating is better than overestimating – at least you don’t have to prove anything, right?

Anyway, if you’re wondering what the heck that background image is… that’s Mallorca. I was just going through my background samples in Adobe and found this… it looks pretty, don’t you think? Kinda brings out the Spanish in me…

Oh, that brings me to another point… in case any of you were wondering, I will clear up confusion about my race. I’m sure one of you thought "She says she’s part Spanish then turns around and says she’s Oriental… wtf?" so let me clear it up. I’m Filipino… probably about 55% Filipino and 40% Spanish and the rest are a mixture of Malaysian and Chinese and whatever else. Since I’m Filipino, technically, that makes me a Pacific-Islander and NOT an Asian. But I look veeery Asiatic anyway, so I just go with the flow. So I hope I cleared that up.

I’m sure I have much more to say, but nothing’s coming to mind right now. Besides, I need to get away from this ‘tarded computer for a while. Well, I commend you for getting this far. Whether you are planning on stalking me or are just really bored... you still made it this far so props. ~_^
