An Introduction To My Child Care

Nancy's House Family Child Care

Wisconsin

I am licensed for Family Child Care by the State of Wisconsin. I therefore follow state health and safety rules. If you want more information on these regulations you can call the Dept. of Health and Family Services at 262-521-5100.

I have been doing child care since 1991. I have received my Child Development Associate credential, the T.E.A.C.H. Infant/Toddler credential and am Accredited by the National Association for Family Child Care.

My child care is open from 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, Monday thru Friday. I am on the WECA child care food program and serve meals accordingly. I have many toys and games as well as a nicely equipped, fenced yard. We are putting the finishing touches on a new, child centered play room in our basement. I do many developmentally appropriate activities with the children. The charge for full time care is $140 - $175 per week per child depending on age.

The first step in enrollment is an interview after hours. During this I will give you a tour of my facility, tell you more about my child care and go over the forms needed for enrollment. Next I ask that you and your child come visit when I am working so that you can see my child care in operation. If after this visit we both agree that we are a good match for each other a start date is agreed upon and a deposit is made to hold your child's place.
