Hi Everyone!!!
Well, I'm sure if you've read through my page that you know I LOVE Scotland. Well I'm not kidding when I said that. I've now been 5 times and I just seem to fall more and more in love with it each time I go. I've been wanting to add some of my pictures from my trip on here for a while...so here I go now. Hopefully you'll understand why I find it so beautiful...OR...you could just think I'm nuts *hehehe*
This is Stanecastle Keep. It is located in a really wonderful seaside town called Irvine.
The following is a garden that is located next to the Robbie Burns Garden Memorial... *G* Ok...so the Robbie Burns Memorial was closed, but this view was almost as pretty!!
It took 5 visits, but I FINALLY found a herd of Highland Cattle...ok...maybe not QUTE a herd...but a handful anyway :) I sat taking their pictures and videoing them for about 10 minutes....ok...maybe I SHOULDN'T be telling you this *hehehe*
This is Loch Lommond. Unfortunately it was cloudy the day I was there and the pictures just can't do this beautiful place the justice it deserves. I would LOVE to spend some time camping here, the water was crystal clear, and the area was just so beautiful.
This is Culzean Castle. The grounds are spectacular no matter when you visit. Remember that this was late October, so imagine how beautiful it would be in the middle of the summer....
This is a picture of the William Wallace memorial which is located near Stirling. I have to admit...when I got there I did NOT want to do the HUGE climb to get to the top to see the monument...but I was coerced *hehehe* But I bitched and complained the entire time I was climbing, puffing, basically dying to get to the top :) It was worth it though...the view from there was amazing :)
This is Dunure Castle ruins...the view from all around here is breathtaking :)
And of course...as lovely as the country is, having a good friend there makes all the difference in the world. So...this next part are some pics of him and me :)
And finally....This is my BEST friend Michele. I love her to pieces and she really is more my sister than my best friend. I'm glad I got to share one of my favourite places with her. Just hope she enjoyed it as much as I did :)
