This is one of the harder grinds because of it's unnatural nature. To do this, you have to be pretty comfortable with an unnatural frontside. Approach your favorite grinding utensil at a slow pace and at a 45 degree angle. When you are about a foot away, jump up to grind. Bend your knees and push your hips the way you are grinding so your front foot is on it's side. You might have to bend your knees a lot for this, but just like a royale you should be used to the position. You'll also need to bend them to the side to get the position right.
At first, it will be hard to get the grind to move, even on a rail. You must keep your body low over the object, and your knees really bent. If you have the right position, it will help you stay locked on. Think of the grind as a negative royale. You still have to keep all of your weight over the 'royale' foot, as this will make you slide.
To give this trick more style, crouch lower over it. The lower you get, the better it looks.
