A rather basic grind, it is used as the starting point for many tricks. This is another trick that you might need to stall in soul stance before you try the grind. The stance has your lead foot in frontside and your back foot in soul, soul is where the grinding surface is between your boot and wheels. After you feel confident in sour soul-stalling ability it's time to put your work to the test. First approach the bar as you would if you were doing a frontside, and start with your lead foot in frontside by stepping up onto the grinding surface, then lock your rear foot in soul and slide away. You will notice you go a lot slower than a frontside so you need more speed.
