First off, find a straight wall to learn on. Go up to the wall and roll the wheels from one skate on the wall to make sure you don't grind on the boot. Once you have done this with both feet and are satisfied with your abilities try the real thing. Jump when you're about a foot or a little more and let your wheels roll just like before. You can add grabs or approach the wall fakie (or land fakie) to add some style.
