The Year 2006 was a tough year for the Tiger Family. It was a year of changes and relocation of our gaming site. We started out at Dolphin Cove and it was immediately recognized that we had made an error in choice. The flash player program proved to present too many problems for our members and we voted to relocate again.
We settled on GamingPeak as a temporary site as it was the most player friendly site at the time. It was also decided that we would hold off and all vote on a final home as the sites progressed. During these unbearable times, many of our Tiger leaders came forth and assisted club members. All efforts were most appreciated. However, one Tiger was above and beyond the "call of duty" and her loyalty and undying dedication to this club has earned her "Tiger of the Year" honors.
Tiger_CanDo_DA devoted most of her time on line to helping Tigers and NIL members access the playing sites. While doing this, she managed the NIL Community, ran her NIL team, Tiger Pride, held captain meetings and never missed a "happy birthday" greeting in the Tiger community or a welcome new member to Tigers or NIL.
On behalf of the Tiger Administrators, I thank her for a job well done and for her loyality and devotion to the Tigers Spades Family. By the way - she has never missed naming a "Player of the Month" for her team.
Once again in 2006, tiger_gram has earned the title of "Spader of the Year!" gram is probably the best known "Tiger Ambassador" on the Internet. Her performanances in the tourney rooms on the various sites is awesome. In 2006, she won 586 banners - topping her own 2005 record. Thank you, Bonnie for continuing to spread "Tiger Pride" over the Internet.
Tiger_LSUfan_Adm has done an outstanding job again as Tiger Community Manager. She is also responsible for handling the Tigers' Birthday calendar. She and Tiger_WindancerDA have worked close together and Wind is responsible for all Tigers getting those personal greetings on their "special day." Thank you, Wind for a job well done. Your job is most important and you are appreciated.
Tiger_Patti_DA is the only other Tiger team captain who has honored a Tiger Pack member every month.. Thank you, Patti - I do think the monthly awards keep your members active. Patti has also spent much time editing Tiger banners in the community. A service most appreciated by myself. Patti cleans the banners and then Tiger_Doctor_DA formats them for the website. The two of them have been very generous with their free time. It is a big job and an important one.
Tiger_Doctor_DA has continued his hosting skills and has done several tourneys in Gaming Peak. He has also done his Battle of the Sexes tourney in the NIL Room. 2007 promises more tourneys and more fun for all.
NIL team captains had a big job in 2006 trying to hold their teams together with all the moves. Thank you Tiger_Nana_DA, Tiger_maggie_DA, Tiger_Des_DA and TigerLilllyDA. We have a big job ahead keeping everyone playing. Tiger_Gabby_DA is co-captain of Tiger Cubs. Tiger_Scorp_Adm has been absent for a few months with health issues, etc. Thank you, Gabby for taking over for her and also for all the service you have given to the members during our relocation process. We can always count on you being around to play.
Special thanks to Tiger_Minny_DA, Tiger_Scruffy_DA and to Tiger_WhtFng_DA for their assistance day in and day out in the NIL Room. Tiger_WhiteFng_DA, Tiger_Nana_DA, Tiger_Cymru_DA and Tiger_Cando_DA all serve as Room adminstrators in the NIL Room. They have covered it well and are responsible for the order in the room.
