Profile: Zelgadiss' perogative throughout all of the series is to get his old and normal form back. Because of his quest he found Lina and Gourry. At First he fought with them, because he believed that they had a statue that would cure him. Later they joined forces to defeat Copy Rezo.
Because he's a chimera he is a third demon, golem, and human. This condition makes him non suscetable to some weapons, not cannon balls however. Long ago Zelgadis asked Rezo for help because he wanted more power. Rezo decided to teach Zelgadis a lesson by giving him the power, but having his half golem body as a consiquence.
Even though Zelgadiss is a chimera it hasn't stopped a certain princess from liking him. Zelgadiss is very self concious about his appearance. Amelia doesn't seem to mind though. He is a wonderful swordsman, and with or without Amelia's help is quite skilled at magic.
Personality: Zelgadis is very shy, and tends to keep very much to himself. He is a quiet and soft spoken man. Although if you do catch him speaking; his sarcasm usually prevails. In the dub he often has to cap his anger using phrases like: "SON OF A--" or "WHY YOU LITTLE--!" Usually these phrases are used against Xelloss, whom he hates very much. When the subject of romance comes up, so does a little crimson on his stoney face.
Overall I think his personality and disposition mirror eachother. Like the stone that he's made of he is strong and emotionless. Yet every stone has a weakness. And once found you can break the rock to reveal a beautiful treasure inside.
