Before coming to Tokyo to join up with the Sailorscouts/senshi, Artemis lived in England with Mina (then known as Sailor V), but they soon decided to join up with the other scouts sencing that the end battle was near and also the fact that the scouts desperately needed them! Luna new of the other scout's existance but was keeping it a secret from the other scouts until the time was right.
Artemis has been a great addition to the Sailorscouts/senshi, mixing both stategy and clear headiness with the uncontrolable urge to assist Luna in mocking Serena/ Usagi. In fact Artemis offers some of the most hilarious quotes in the shows entire run!
As well as these traits, Artemis has also added the mini-plot of a love interest for Luna and the chemistry that insues. (For more on his relationship with Luna, see the Relationships section).
In the future he and Luna end up having a little kitten (what a small litter!) called, Diana which travels back in time as a gift to Rini/ ChibiUsa from queen Serenity and becomes her Guardian.
Now some Bad News-Good News; The Bad News is that in the manga (not the Anime!) Artemis like Luna and Diana are killed, thier cresent moon symbols destroyed! The Good news is that they are all reincarnated with the Sailorscouts in the 30th century!
